A residential building in Bengaluru's Kamala Nagar was evacuated on Monday after residents reported a tilt. Authorities have now decided to demolish the building.

The Bengaluru civic body said that residents of the building have been shifted to a temporary accommodation where they have been given food and essentials.

It was one among the 26 buildings listed by the municipal corporation that was to be demolished. Officials blame poor foundation and heavy rains for the tilt in the building.

Last Thursday,  a three-storey building collapsed in the city's Kasturi Nagar, making it the fourth such incident in a fortnight.
