Oil marketing companies have slashed the prices of commercial LPG gas cylinders. This will be effective from Tuesday. The price of 19 KG commercial LPG cylinder is cut by Rs 99.75.
In Delhi the cylinder would be sold for Rs 1,680. Similarly in Mumbai, Kolkata, Chennai the cylinder would cost Rs 1,640.50, Rs 1802.50, Rs 1852.50 respectively.
Meanwhile, the prices of domestic gas cylinders will remain the same. A non-subsidised 14.2 kg gas cylinder costs Rs 1,103 in Delhi, Rs 1,129 in Kolkata, Rs 1,102.50 in Mumbai, and Rs 1,118.50 in Chennai. The prices of domestic cylinders were last modified in May.

The prices are revised on the first day of every month. In June the prices of commercial LPG cylinders were slashed by Rs 83.5 at state-run oil wholesalers.
Depending on the local VAT, these LPG petrol prices change from one state to the next. Domestic and commercial LPG petrol cylinders are marketed separately in the nation.
Commercial cylinders are utilised by businesses like hotels, restaurants, and industries, whilst domestic cylinders are designed for home consumption.
