Cooking gas has become cheaper as prices for commercial LPG cylinders effective April 1, 2024 have been slashed by ₹30.50. A 19 kg commercial cylinder now costs ₹1764.50 in New Delhi
Additionally, the cost of a 5 kg Free Trade LPG cylinder has been reduced by ₹7.50.
Oil marketing companies in India have reduced the price of commercial LPG cylinders, providing some relief to consumers.
This price cut follows two consecutive hikes in February and March, which had put pressure on consumers. Prior to these increases, prices were lowered at the beginning of the year by ₹39.50 per 19 kg commercial cooking gas cylinder.
