Ready to take to the skies Rakesh Jhunjhunwala backed Akasa Air revealed its look for the first time on social media as it tweeted a picture of the orange and purple aircraft in the hangar.
Akasa Air tweeted along with the picture “Can’t keep calm! Say hi to our QP-pie!" The QP is the code allocated to the airline that is set to takeoff in July as per reports.

We expect our first aircraft delivery by early June 2022, with the intention to start commercial operations in July 2022," Vinay Dube, CEO, Akasa Air, told PTI.
A 72 plane plan with Boeing for the 737 MAX has been signed by the aircraft, first delivery of which is by June. Akasa Air's launch will be followed by erstwhile airline giant Jet Airways as well taking to the runaway once again by September.
