India has more billionaires than several developed countries, ranks 3rd globally: World of Statistics

The number of billionaires in India has surpassed several developed countries like Germany, Italy, Canada, the UK, Australia, France, Switzerland, and Japan. As per data from World of Statistics, India has 169 Billionaires which is the third highest in the world.  

America has 735 billionaires topping the list, followed by China that has 495 billionaires. As per World Statistics data, among 15 nations with the most number of billionaires, Japan is ranked last with only 40 ultra-rich people.

Russia, Germany, India, China and the U.S. have more than 100 billionaires across the globe. As per Forbes, Mukesh Ambani is the richest person in India with a net worth of $87 billion followed by Gautam Adani and Shiv Nadar. As per reports in India, Mumbai is home to 66 billionaires, 39 live in Delhi and 21 in Bengaluru. 

France's Bernard Arnault & family is the richest in the world with a net worth of $236.1 billion. Among the World's top 10 billionaires, seven are from America.
