Israel-Hamas war: Amidst the ongoing war between Israel and Palestine's Hamas group, Wipro has said that all of its 80 employees in Israel have been accounted for. All the employees are Israeli nationals.
The firm has also advised its employees to Work From Home and follow all the safety measures put in place by the local government. The software giant further added that they are monitoring the situation and are ready to activate business continuity plans if required.
“Advising all employees in the country to work from home until further notice and follow the safety measures put in place by the local government. We are monitoring the situation closely and are ready to activate business continuity plans should there be a further escalation of events", Wipro told Mint.

Tata Consultancy Services also said they are closely monitoring the safety of its employees in Israel.
“We are monitoring, and have been in touch with the HR (human resources) officials there. We are helping them with safety measures. There are some employees from India and their families," a TCS executive told Mint.
The IT firms will also be tracking the safety of their Indian employees who are residing in neighbouring countries as the conflict may spill over to other regions in the Middle East. According to reports, 15,000-18,000 Indians, including students, are residing in Israel.
