Social Media Platform X and its Pro version experienced widespread outages early Thursday.

Individuals attempting to update their feeds were greeted with a welcome message prompting them to explore the platform's features. The message read, "Welcome to X! This is the best place to see what’s happening in your world. Find some people and topics to follow now."

The platform's Pro version, formerly known as TweetDeck, encountered loading glitches, displaying a "Waiting for posts" notification to users.

Data from Downdetector highlighted that over 47,000 users across the United States grappled with access problems, exacerbating the inconvenience caused by the outage.

Social Media Platform X has yet to release an official statement regarding the global disruption and the cause behind the unexpected downtime. Users, meanwhile, expressed their frustrations on alternative platforms, sharing their inability to access their feeds and engage with content during the outage.
