Shah Rukh Khan, the Bollywood superstar, is once again proving his magnetic pull at the box office with his latest movie, "Jawan." The film, directed by Atlee and co-starring Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi, has taken the ticket counters by storm. In a ticket purchase frenzy, 41,000 tickets were sold in under two hours, setting a new record for the actor.
Meanwhile, ticket prices at some places for "Jawan" have soared to ₹2,400 apiece
This buzz around "Jawan" is further fueled by the fact that this is Shah Rukh Khan's first major release since the massive success of "Pathaan." Film trade experts are already making bold predictions. Renowned trade analyst Manobala Vijayabalan took to social media to declare that "Jawan" is poised to become SRK's second ₹100-crore opener. If this prediction holds true, it would mark a historic milestone in Bollywood, making Shah Rukh Khan the first actor to achieve such a feat.
Advance bookings for "Jawan" kicked off on September 1 at 10 AM, and the response has been nothing short of phenomenal. Tickets are rapidly selling out in cities across the country, according to the Hindustan Times.
"Jawan" is set to release in multiple languages, including Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu, and will be available in both 2D and IMAX formats.
