Can Kohli's RCB end their IPL jinx in UAE?

Year after year, Royal Challengers Bangalore come up with one of the most explosive-looking IPL teams which make their fans believe that this might be their year they've waited for. Unfortunately, the fortunes haven't changed yet for the men in maroon & gold.

RCB in the past has finished as runners-up thrice and have made it to the playoffs 2 times but the nerves of the big stage seem to get to the Virat Kohli led side. 

Skipper Kohli always tries his best with the bat and is the leading run-scorer of the league. AB de Villiers has been his second in command over the years and has single-handedly won them numerous games. Having roped in Aaron Finch in their squad in the 2019 auction, Bangalore probably has one of the most explosive top orders this time around.

But it's their bowling which lets RCB down more often than not. One reason that has made their bowling attack look weak is their home condition. M Chinnaswamy stadium is considered as a graveyard for the bowlers but with the IPL now happening in UAE, it may just prove to be a blessing in disguise for their bowlers. 

With all 3 venues in UAE having long boundaries and turning tracks, spinners will enjoy their time out there. RCB already had Yuzvendra Chahal, Washington Sundar, Pawan Negi and Moeen Ali in their ranks and they have also replaced Kane Richardson with Adam Zampa. With a good bunch of pacers including Dale Steyn, Mohammed Siraj, Navdeep Saini and Umesh Yadav, the Royal Challengers do look a unit that has got all its basis covered.
