Capt Amarinder Singh to float a new party is the latest buzz in the Punjab saga

Days after resigning as Punjab chief minister and dismissing speculations of joining the BJP, reports now suggest Captain Amarinder Singh may float a new political party. 

Nearly a dozen Congress leaders are in touch with Capt Amarinder Singh, who is also consulting with his supporters on the next move  Amarinder Singh is also likely to meet some of the farmer leaders of Punjab, according to the reports by India Today

On Wednesday, Amarinder Singh called on Union Home Minister Amit Shah at his residence in Delhi, sparking speculation of him joining the BJP after his exit as the Punjab chief minister. However, Amarinder Singh cleared the air and says will quit Congress but won't join BJP.
