Covid-19 super-spreaders: how should they be contained

All infected individuals do not spread coronavirus with the same intensity. Here is when you should know about superspreaders. Who is a superspreader of novel coronavirus? A superspreader is a person who infects more people compared to an average infected person. Super-spreaders can accelerate the rate of new infections and expand the geographic distribution of the disease. Is it possible to predict where a superspreader of Covid-19 is likely to be?

"Superspreaders not only infect quicker than other carriers of the disease but also are themselves more susceptible to infection," says Professor Yaron Oz, Rector, Tel Aviv University tells Govindraj Ethiraj.
