Delhi MCD election 2022 results : Results of the hotly-contested MCD elections will be revealed today, with the national capital seeing a 3-way contest between the Aam Aadmi Party, the Bharatiya Janata Party, and the Indian National Congress.
42 centres have been set up to count votes cast in 250 wards. Delhi saw a voter turnout of 50.48% on 4 December, which is lower than the 2017 elections.
Most exit polls favoured an Aam Aadmi Party victory, with BJP a distant second, and the Congress decimated.

Twenty companies of paramilitary personnel and over 10,000 officers of Delhi Police have been deployed at the counting centres.
Besides the counting centres, heavy police presence will also be ensured outside the offices of political parties, officials said. Adequate security personnel will also be deployed to prevent clashes between activists of different parties.
The police are also keeping tabs on strongrooms where Electronic Voting Machines (EVMs) are stored, and the counting centres.
