Exit polls: Hung assembly in Goa; BJP dominant in Manipur | Elections 2022

Exit polls 2022: Along with India's largest state, the country's smallest province, and one of the seven sisters went to polls in the recently-concluded election exercise.

In Goa, exit polls have predicted a hung assembly. The House has 40 members, and the majority mark is 21. Times Now-Veto predicted 14 seats for ruling BJP, and 16 for the Congress. Republic PMARQ predicted 13 to 17 for both BJP and Congress.

India TV CNX said BJP would win 16 to 22 and Congress 11 to 17. ABP CVoter predicted 13 to 17 for the BJP, and 12 to 16 for the Congress. Aaj Tak Axis My India gave 14 to 18 to the BJP, and 15 to 20 to the Congress.

The poll of polls, or average of the exit polls, gave 16 to BJP, 15 to Congress, 3 to AAP, 4 to TMC, and 2 to others.

In Manipur, the exit polls weighed heavily in BJP's favour. The majority mark in the 60-member House is 31.

Republic PMARQ gave 27 to 31 to BJP, 11 to 17 to Congress. India TV CNX gave 26 to 31 to BJP, 12 to 17 to Congress. ABP News CVoter predicted 23 to 27 for BJP, and 12 to 16 for Congress. Aaj Tak Axis My India predicted 33 to 43 for the BJP, and 4 to 8 for the Congress.
