Goa Exit Polls: As exit polls predict a hung house in Goa, political activities in both the BJP and the Congress camp have already begun.

Goa CM Pramod Sawant met Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Sawant in Delhi to brief the PM about the prospects of BJP coming back to power in the coastal state.

After meeting the PM, Sawant will reportedly go to Mumbai to discuss the post-result strategy with BJP Goa incharge Devendra Fadnavis.

Reports said that the BJP has already started talks with smaller regional parties for support post results.

Some reports said that the MGP is not inclined to back Pramod Sawant, who had dropped the party from the Goa cabinet after taking over as Chief Minister following Manohar Parrikar's death in 2019.

Hectic activities are also on in the Congress camp, with the party reportedly planning to shift its Goa MLAs to Maharashtra to shield them from poaching.

The party has also signalled a massive shift by saying it is open to an alliance with Arvind Kejriwal's AAP and the Trinamool in case it falls short of numbers.
