This man is Gujarat's richest MLA with assets worth Rs 661.29 crore

Jayantibhai Sombhai Patel has become the richest MLA in Gujarat’s newly elected assembly. He won on a BJP ticket from Mansa. 

64-year-old Patel had declared assets worth Rs 661 crore while filing his nomination out of which Rs 514 crore are immovable and Rs 147 crore movable.

His election affidavit also shows that his individual annual income is Rs 44. 22 lakh while that of his wife is Rs 62.7 lakh. He owns jewellery worth Rs 92.4 lakh and his wife owns jewellery worth Rs1.2 core

Patel has been in the real estate business for over 3 decades.
