Congress has managed to bag Himachal Pradesh with ruling BJP falling prey to the state's proclivity for political change in every election cycle. Here's a look at possible CM faces from the Congress' ranks.
One of the frontrunners is Sukhwinder Singh who is a 3-time MLA. He is the party's campaign chief and former chief of the Congress' Himachal unit.
Another possible CM is Mukesh Agnihotri who is the Leader of Opposition. He is a 4-time legislator.
Pratibha Singh is also in the reckoning. She is the current state unit chief, and wife of ex-CM late Virbhadra Singh. She is not contesting the current polls as she is an MP.
The other names doing the rounds were of Kaul Singh Thakur, an 8-time MLA and a former minister, and Asha Kumari, a former minister and 6-time legislator. But both lost.
