After Madhavi Latha, another BJP candidate questioned burqa-clad women voters. BJP candidate from Nizamabad constituency, Arvind Dharmapuri, was seen in a video questioning the presiding officer about burqa-clad women.

In the video that has gone viral, Arvind Dharmapuri was heard saying, "How would we know if she is a voter or not? Are you just passing time here or doing your duty?"

As people came across this video, they started outraging over it. Several social media users said, "Why are these people so obsessed with burqas?"

Another user said, "This man has no right to do so."

This incident has come hours after a case was registered against BJP candidate from Hyderabad K Madhavi Latha for asking Muslim women to show their faces so that she could match them with their voter IDs.
