Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal surrendered at the Tihar Jail on June 2 as the period of interim bail granted to him in the liquor policy case by the Supreme Court ended.

Before returning to jail, Kejriwal, along with his wife Sunita Kejriwal and other Aam Aadmi Party leaders paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi at Rajghat.

He then visited Hanuman Temple and addressed AAP workers at the party office.

Kejriwal was given interim bail to campaign for the Lok Sabha elections. He had sought an extension of his interim bail, however, a Delhi court postponed the matter for June 5 after reserving its order.
