Caught with ₹4 crore cash, BJP worker names party poll candidate in TN

A team of flying squad seized approximately ₹4 crore in cash from three people, including a BJP worker at Tambaram railway station in Chennai on April 6. 

As per reports, the BJP member Sathish, a manager of a private hotel, his brother Naveen and one driver, Perumal, were carrying ₹4 crore in six bags. Three of the accused were to travel to Tirunelveli by train when the flying squad detained them. 

India Today reported that Satish allegedly confessed to having acted as per the instructions of the team of Tirunelveli BJP MP candidate Nainar Nagenthiran. 

Investigation into the matter is currently underway.
