Prime Minister Narendra Modi attacked Rahul Gandhi for forcing Congress leaders to leave the party, and committing to leftist ideologies.

Speaking at an election rally in Pune, Modi said Congress leaders are leaving the party because of the 'prince' of Gandhi-Nehru family.

"Young leaders who have given 15-20 years to the party, are now leaving Congress," Modi said, adding that the reason for the exits is the "Maoist ideology that has gripped" the grand old party.
