Congress spokesperson Radhika Khera resigned from the party claiming she was mistreated during Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra in Chhattisgarh.
"During Rahul Gandhi's Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra, the media chairman of Chhattisgarh Congress, Sushil Anand Shukla, who should not be called 'Sushil' but 'Dushil', offered me alcohol...Five to six people used to knock my room's door in inebriated condition," Khera said.
"I told about this to Sachin Pilot and state chief Deepak Vaid. In Delhi as well, I informed Jairam Ramesh, Pawan Khera and everyone that this happened with me during the Bharat Jodo Yatra. But nothing happened. I was ignored because I did not get along with the party's anti-Hindu, anti-Ram ideology," she added.
The AICC's communication and media coordinator for Chhattisgarh posted her resignation letter, addressed to Congress president Mallikarjuj Kharge, on her 'X' handle.
Notably, an argument took place between Khera and Chhattisgarh Congress' communication wing chairperson Sushil Anand Shukla on April 30 in the party office in Raipur over the visit of senior leader Pawan Khera the next day, party sources had told PTI.
A video purportedly of Khera had gone viral in which she claimed that she was insulted.
