Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma mocked Congress leaders Rahul Gandhi and Priyanka Gandhi, calling them "Amul babies". Himata said that people in the state would rather see the tigers and rhinos in Kaziranga instead of watching the siblings at their election campaign events.

Himanta while interacting with reporters, said, "Why would the people of Assam go to see the Gandhi family's 'Amul babies'? They would rather go to Kaziranga and look at the tigers and rhinos."

Amid the ongoing election campaigns, Assam Chief Minister Himanta Biswa Sarma was seen flexing his dance moves on the stage.
