TMC supremo Mamata Banerjee has said that she is disassociating herself from her younger brother Babun Banerjee after he said he might contest the Lok Sabha elections indepedently.
Babun Banerjee was upset with the party's choice of candidate for the Howrah seat in West Bengal.
Babun told reporters earlier on Wednesday that he will not join the BJP but was thinking about fighting from Howrah as an independent candidate.
