Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday lashed out at the Congress and Jharkhand Mukti Morcha at an election rally saying the grand old party is the 'mother' of corruption and the party was involved in coal and 2G scams.

Launching a scathing attack, Modi said, the party gave a ticket to 'Shehzada' Rahul Gandhi from Rae Bareli seat when he 'ran away' from Wayanad, alleging that the party did not even consider any other party worker who has been working on the ground level for Congress in for the Gandhi family bastion. Without naming former Congress chief, Modi slammed Sonia Gandhi--the outgoing PM from the Rae Bareli seat for seeking votes for Rahul Gandhi.

Mocking Rahul Gandhi yet again, Modi said the Congress leader has been claiming he is contesting 'mummy ki seat'. The PM compared Gandhi to a kid, saying not even an 8-year-old would go around and say he is attending his father's school.
