Narendra Modi expected to take oath as PM on June 8: report

Narendra Modi is reportedly expected to take oath as the prime minister for the third time on June 8.

News agency ANI said that the formation of the NDA government and the swearing-in ceremony of Modi will be held on the same day.

Notably, the BJP fell short of majority winning 240 seats, however, the NDA's tally comfortably crossed the 272-mark.

Meanwhile, both NDA and INDIA bloc have scheduled separate meetings of alliance partners in Delhi on Wednesday.
