Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann recited Kikli 2.0, while campaigning for AAP candidate Gurmeet Singh Khudian, the MLA from Lambi constituency. He used the latest version of kikli to target SAD chief Sukhbir Singh Badal.
Mann said, "Kikli kaleer di, buri halat Sukhbir di, Samajh kuchh aave na, vote koi thiave na, makhi ude na pinde ton, seat phas gayi Bathinde ton..." (Like a spinning top, Sukhbir is in a bad condition. He is not able to understand anything. No one is going to vote for his party, no one is even interested in his party , the seat (Bathinda) has slipped away.)
Bhagwant Mann first came up with his own version of Kikli in 2017. He was an MP then and had come up with this version to target the Shiromani Akali Dal and the Badals on several key issues including drug menace in Punjab.
