Congress leader Rahul Gandhi on May 2 slammed JDS leader Prajwal Revanna over the allegations of sexual abuse of women.

Gandhi also targeted Prime Minister Narendra Modi, whose party BJP is contesting the elections in alliance with JDS.

"The biggest issue here is the Revanna case. [Revanna] who mass raped women was endorsed by the prime minister. [Revanna] mass raped 400 women. The PM should answer for this and apologise to women," said Gandhi.

The Wayanad MP was speaking to reporters in Karnataka's Shivamogga when he made the remark.
