Congress leader Shashi Tharoor who is fighting against Union Minister Rajeev Chandrasekar for Thiruvananthapuram Lok Sabha seat cast his vote in the constituency on April 26.
"This election is about far greater than my own future. It is about India's future. It is about changing the government in Delhi. We are here to restore democracy, restore faith in diversity and restore India's pluralism," said Tharoor after exercising his voting right.
Polling is underway for 88 Lok Sabha seats across 13 seats, including all 20 seats in Kerala.
