The Aam Aadmi Party has made an impressive debut in the Chandigarh civic polls. Arvind Kejriwal's party has won 13 seats and leading in one more in the Chandigarh Municipal Corporation election.
The icing on the AAP's Chandigarh cake is its candidate's win over BJP's sitting mayor.
The incumbent BJP has been able to retain 10 seats while Congress and Akali Dal have emerged victorious in 5 and 1 seats respectively.
