As Punjab Congress chief Navjot Singh Sidhu and Chief Minister Charanjit Singh Channi compete to be the party's chief ministerial candidate, Rahul Gandhi on Thursday said that two people can't lead, only one person can.

He also said that Congress will announce its chief ministerial face before the polls if the party workers want.

Rahul Gandhi's comment came as he addressed a virtual rally in Punjab with Channi and Sidhu in attendance.

Both Punjab leaders assured that they will not hanker for the post in their respective speeches and also said that they will extend support to each other.

Punjab assembly elections will be held on February 20.
