UP Election 2022: RLD chief Jayant Chaudhry to not cast his vote today: here's why

On Thursday, the great battle for Uttar Pradesh began with polling in 58 assembly seats distributed over 11 districts in the state's western region. Rashtriya Lok DaL (RLD) chief Jayant Chaudhary voter from the Mathura region is all set to miss his vote today because he is scheduled for his election rally with the Samajwadi Party chief Akhilesh Yadav.

It's a combined election campaign by Akhilesh Yadav and Jayant Chaudhary which is all set to take place at Numaish Maidan in Uttar Pradesh's Bijnor district.

Earlier, Chaudhry asked people to vote for a government that is accountable and works for the development of all members of society.

The next phase of the UP election will take place on 14th February and the results will be announced on 10th March.
