Priyanka Gandhi Vadra on Saturday clarified that it would not be right to assume that she is the chief ministerial candidate of the Congress for Uttar Pradesh elections.
She further added that her statement on Friday that seemed to hint that she may be the grand old party's CM face was a tongue-in-cheek comment made out of irritation at being asked the same question again and again.
On Friday, when Priyanka was questioned about her party's chief ministerial candidate for UP, she had in reply asked the reporters if they can see anyone other Congress leader's face in the state.
The Congress General Secretary has also slammed BJP and Samajwadi Party, accusing them of practising politics of communalisation.

She said that the Samajwadi Party and BJP are practicing a similar style of politics because they're benefitting from that kind of politics. The parties who go ahead on the basis of communalism and casteism have only have one agenda, she added.
