Actor Jr NTR, who represented ‘RRR’ during the 2023 Golden Globe Awards, revealed that he would like to do a Marvel film and is waiting for a call.

At the red carpet of the event, Hollywood trade website Variety asked the actor if he is ‘manifesting’ a Marvel film. Jr. NTR replied, ‘I would love to do it. I’m waiting for it to happen.’ He also revealed that his favourite character from Marvel is Iron Man, ‘He’s so relatable. He is someone like us. He does not have superpowers. He doesn’t come from a different planet. He’s not someone who has been put through a science experiment and become the Hulk.’

The actor further added that he trained rigorously for 18 months, ate seven meals a day and gained around 7kg of muscle for his role as in ‘RRR’ as Bheem. He said, ‘I was eating seven goddamn meals a day — 4,000 calories!’

‘RRR’ has won the Best Original Song for ‘Naatu Naatu’. The film was released in Hindi, Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam language. The film stars Jr NTR and Ram Charan in the pivotal roles. It also features Alia Bhatt, Ajay Devgn, Olivia Morris, Samuthirakani, Alison Doody, and Ray Stevenson.

On the work front, Jr NTR will next be seen in ‘NTR30’. It is rumoured that Jahnvi Kapoor will be seen along with him in the film.
