Is Ranbir Kapoor taking archery lessons for ‘Ramayana’? Viral pic fuels speculations

After the massive success of ‘Animal’, Ranbir Kapoor is all set for his next project. The actor who has bagged Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ and Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’ is busy preparing for his next role. 

Ranbir Kapoor’s viral pictures 

The ‘Rockstar’ actor is training hard.  A fan page dedicated to Ranbir Kapoor shared a series of pictures of the actor with his archery coach. He is seen dressed in a casual grey T-shirt and shorts. The viral pictures suggest that the actor has started taking archery training for his upcoming film.  

Earlier on Saturday, Ranbir Kapoor’s fitness coach shared a picture of Ranbir Kapoor performing a headstand on his Instagram handle. He captioned the post, “#Ranbirkapoor First Headstand.” The hashtags included ‘Ramayan’ as well hinting that the intense gym session is a part of Ranbir’s preparation for the film.  

About Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’ 

While the official announcement is still awaited, the reports suggest that Ranbir Kapoor has been cast for the role of Lord Ram, while Sai Pallavi will play Sita and South Superstar Yash will portray the role of ‘Ravana’. The film is all set to go on the floors by the end of this year.

Ranbir Kapoor was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s directorial ‘Animal’. His performance earned him a filmfare award for the Best Actor as well as many praises from the fans and critics. Besides ‘Ramayana’, Ranbir has also been roped in by Sanjay Leela Bhansali for ‘Love & War’ which also stars Alia Bhatt and Vicky Kaushal in lead roles.
