If reports are to be believed, Actor Varun Dhawan is gearing up to become the ‘dulha’ for the third time for Karan Johar’s superhit ‘Dulhania’ franchise’s next film. The reports suggest that filmmaker Karan Johar has teamed up with Varun for Dulhaniya 3. The earlier two films of the franchise- ‘Humpty Sharma ki Dulhania’ and ‘Badrinath ki Dulhania’ were huge successes on the box office, but this film will have one huge difference. Reports suggest that Alia Bhatt will not be part of the film.

Director Shashank Khaitan will reportedly direct the third film of the series as well. As per a report of Bollywood Hungama, actor Varun, Shashank and Karan Johar have held discussions for the film. With Karan Johar, Varun Dhawan, Shashank Khaitan reuniting, the film is expected to go on the floors in 2024, however, the hunt for the leading lady is still on. The report added that there is a high chance that a fresh face will be launched in the next ‘Dulhania’ film.

The shooting of the ‘Dulhania 3’ will commence next year once Varun completes the shooting for his film with his father David Dhawan. Varun Dhawan’s last film was ‘Bawaal’ where he shared screen with Janhvi Kapoor. He also has another film project where he will share screen with Samantha Ruth Prabhu. He recently appeared on Karan Johar’s chat show ‘Koffee With Karan’.
