Kartik Aaryan has a busy year ahead. As per the latest updates, his schedule is set to get busier.   According to multiple media reports, the actor is in talks to star in an upcoming Suraj Barjatya film. Touted as a family entertainer, the film was reportedly offered to Salman Khan earlier. After the Bollywood superstar decided to back out from the project, Kartik has reportedly been approached to fill in some big shoes. 

Kartik Aaryan roped in for Suraj Barjatya's next? 

Kartik Aaryan, currently gearing up for his upcoming film 'Chandu Champion',  is in talks to star in Suraj Barjatya's next, titled 'Prem Ki Shaadi', suggested a Pinkvilla report. The report further added that Barjatya has initiated conversations with Kartik Aaryan, and if all goes well, the actor may sign the film following the release of 'Chandu Champion'. 

“Sooraj Barjatya is on the look-out for an actor who brings in a sense of innocence on the screen and feels that Kartik has it in him to be the new-age on-screen Prem. Things are in a very preliminary stage at this point of time,” revealed a source close to the development. While one round of meetings have already taken place, more conversations will take place after the release of Chandu Champion on June 14.”

The source further revealed that Kartik has liked the idea. “Kartik has heard the idea and is interested in doing the film, however, is waiting to hear the complete script before signing the dotted lines. There will be a clear picture on the casting of Sooraj Barjatya’s next by Mid-July, once the full-fledged narration takes place.”

Kartik's upcoming films 

Kartik's 'Chandu Champion' is set to release on June 14, 2024. He also has 'Bhool Bhulaiyaa 3', 'Indian' and 'Tu Aashiqui Hai' in the pipeline.
