Ranveer Singh requests Varun Dhawan not to do a remake of Govinda's 'Raja Babu'; Here's why

Actor Ranveer Singh is busy promoting his movie 'Cirkus' which is slated to release in theatres on December 23. Ahead of the film’s release, the actor in an interview with Pinkvilla revealed that he is a big fan of Salman Khan’s film 'Judwaa' and Govinda’s 'Raja Babu'.

He said, 'Judwaa is another favourite film of mine alongside Raja Babu. I have seen these movies maximum number of times. And what music!'

Ranveer added, 'Varun Dhawan keeps doing these movies man, and I keep telling him, do whatever you want to do but don't do Raja Babu as I want to do it.'

Agreeing with Ranveer’s statement, Rohit Shetty said, 'Yes, Varun is very good in comedies.'

'Cirkcus', directed by Rohit Shetty, also stars Pooja Hegde, Jacqueline Fernandez, and Varun Sharma among others. The film is all set to release in theatres on December 23.
