The latest teaser of the film ‘Selfiee’, starring Akshay Kumar and Emraan Hashmi, has been unveiled. It has a special mention of the recent #BoycottBollywood trend. Akshay shared the teaser on social media and captioned it, ‘Jo seh rahe hain, woh keh rahein hain. Don’t miss #Selfiee in cinemas, on 24th Feb.’

The teaser opens with a news reporter seeking a boycott of superstar Vijay, played by Akshay Kumar. It then presumably shows the maker of the film turning to the TV and saying that the films are not working anyway.

The scene is a reference to what has been transpiring on social media for the last one year. Many Bollywood films have faced the fury of this Boycott culture and fallen flat at the ticket booths, including Akshay's 'Raksha Bandhan'.

Soon after the teaser, the makers also shared a full-fledged trailer of the movie.

Directed by Raj Mehta, 'Selfiee' also stars Nushrratt Bharuccha and Diana Penty among others. The film is all set to release in theatres on February 24, 2023.
