Bollywood heartthrob Varun Dhawan is reportedly joining hands with his father for another collaboration on the big screen. The title of the film is yet to be decided, however, Tips Films is backing the project, while Ramesh Taurani is the producer.

Varun & David’s film release date

A Pinkvilla report suggests that the family entertainer is scheduled to release on October 2, 2025. This will mark the fourth collaboration between the Dhawan father and son duo.

Varun & David’s first film together was ‘Main Tero Hero’, which was released in 2014. The comedy film got a thumbs up from the audience. They later came together in 2017 for ‘Judwaa 2’ which was also a hit, however, their last film ‘Coolie No. 1’ failed to impress the moviegoers.

When Varun spoke about working with David Dhawan

He has tackled the genre for three decades and has found success in each decade. When you are working with such an accomplished director who knows the genre and its details so well, you know. I feel safe when I work with my father.”
