Fans of BTS aka ARMYs got a beautiful surprise this morning as their favourite idol gave them an update. BTS singer Park Jimin shared a post, updating fans about himself and his bandmate Jungkook. Currently serving in military, Jimin wished the fans on Lunar New Year on the fan community forum Weverse.

Wishing ARMYs on Lunar New Year, Jimin wrote, “ARMYs, it’s Lunar New Year! I hope you have a happy Lunar New Year and I hope you’ll stay healthy and won’t get sick this year, I hope that this year will be filled with nothing but happiness.” He went on to give an update about himself and Jungkook and wrote, “Jungkook and I are doing well, so don’t worry too much. I’ll make sure to come back again! Eat lots of delicious things, and don’t go on a diet today.”

Jimin’s post has left his fans delighted and emotional. While several fans responded to their idol’s post in comments section, many took to X to express their love for Jimin. Many ARMYs wrote that they will wait for their idols to come back.
About BTS members
Jimin along with other members Jungkook, RM and V started their military service in December. While Jin, the oldest member of the group was the first one to enlist, J-hope and Suga started their mandatory military service in April and September 2023 respectively. BTS, which is currently on hiatus is expected to reconvene around 2025 after their service commitment.
