Tamil actor Mohan, who was best known for his role in Kamal Haasan-starrer 'Apoorva Sagotharargal', was found dead on a street in Thiruparankundram area of Madurai. He was 60.
The cause of death is still unknown.
According to The Indian Express, Mohan was forced to beg for a living and live on the streets as he didn’t get many acting chances. He reportedly lost his wife ten years ago and his economic condition was bad.
Mohan was found dead on the road on July 31 and his body was sent to Madurai Government Hospital for an autopsy.
Mohan was often cast in supporting roles and was known for his short appearance. He gained recognition with his role in Kamal Haasan's ‘Apoorva Sagotharargal’. He played one of Kamal Haasan's friends in the film.
Reports suggest that Mohan is survived by three sisters and two brothers. He lived in Salem.
Apart from 'Apoorva Sagotharargal', he also starred in 'Naan Kadavul, 'Athisaya Manithargal', among other films.
