The Press Informatiom Bureau has issued a statement after visuals of water logging at Bharat Mandapam, the venue for G20 summit in Delhi, went viral on social media.

PIB said that claims were 'exaggerated and misleading'. It said that there was a minor water logging in the open area  and it was swiftly cleared as pumps were pressed into action after overnight rains in Delhi. It added that there is no water logging at venue anymore.

PIB Fact Check also tweeted a video of a dry Bharat Mandapam and said that multiple pumps were pressed into action and the water was removed in 20 minutes.

It further said that the main venue of the summit was not water logged and no inconvience was caused.
