3 people have been killed and at least 17 are reported missing after a massive landslide near Kedarnath in Uttarakhand's Rudraprayag district washed away two roadside shops and dhabas on 4 August, ANI reported on 5 August.

The district administration has launched search and rescue operation for the missing people led by the SDRF.

Due to inclement weather in the area, CM Pushkar Dhami's Kedarnath visit scheduled for Saturday has been postponed.
