Bomb scare in Delhi after explosives were found inside a house in Seemapuri, as per reports.

An improvised explosive device, or IED, was recovered from a bag inside an abandoned house on February 17, according to reports. The house had reportedly been rented to 3-4 young men who have fled, and are now being considered suspects.

The house became the centre of hectic activity after bomb squad and fire brigade were rushed there. The abandoned house came under the scanner during an investigation by the Delhi Police Special Zone, according to reports.

A 3-kg RDX bomb was found in an abandoned bag at a flower market, raising suspicion of a terror attack conspiracy ahead of the Republic Day. The improvised explosive device, or IED, was disposed of in a controlled explosion.

Subsequently, on January 19, two abandoned bags were spotted in Delhi's Trilokpuri. However, the police later announced that it was a false alarm.
