The residents of a housing society in Greater Noida, Uttar Pradesh have been asked not to wear 'lungis' and 'nighties' while walking outside on the society premises, as per reports.

The dress code notice was issued on June 10, 2023, by the residents' welfare association of the Himsagar Society.

The RWA president said that it was a request after some women complained about a senior citizen doing yoga while wearing loose cloth.

Some residents quoted by Hindustan Times said that they didn't have a problem with the circular.
