Watch: Bridge washed away in UP's Meerut amid heavy rain

Amid heavy rain, a portion of a bridge collapsed in Meerut, Uttar Pradesh on June 26.

A part of the bridge connecting Hastinapur and Bijnor was washed away amid a heavy flow of water in the Ganga River.

The bridge had been shut last year for repairs but some security installations were still pending, as per officials quoted by news agency ANI.
