Rahul Gandhi will be questioned by the Enforcement Directorate for the third consecutive day on Wednesday in the National Herald money laundering case.
He has already been grilled for close to over 20 hours over the past two days.
News agency PTI reported officials as saying that Gandhi has been called again on June 15 as the questioning and the recording of a statement are taking a long time.
While, according to PTI's report quoting agency sources, the delay was due to Gandhi checking the transcript of his statement minutely, Congress leaders claimed that the investigators took multiple breaks during his questioning on Monday.
The Congress leader was accompanied by his sister Priyanka Gandhi to the ED office on both Monday and Tuesday, along with a host senior Congress leaders.
Both days saw massive protests by Congress workers in the area around the investigative agency's office with police detaining the protesters and taking them away in buses.
