Delhi Chief Minister Atishi, citing "credible" sources, claimed on Friday that the BJP plans to name Ramesh Bidhuri as their chief ministerial candidate for the upcoming assembly elections.
She criticized Bidhuri, labeling him as the “most abusive” leader in the party, and suggested that his selection was a reward for his behavior.
Atishi, who is seeking re-election from Kalkaji, will face BJP's Ramesh Bidhuri and Congress's Alka Lamba in the polls.
In a press conference, Atishi remarked, "Sources have revealed that the Gali Galauj Party has decided to project Ramesh Bidhuri as their chief ministerial candidate for his abusive remarks."
The Aam Aadmi Party (AAP), led by Arvind Kejriwal, has frequently accused the BJP of indulging in personal attacks, dubbing the party the “Gali Galauj Party” in the lead-up to the assembly elections.
