India reports lowest daily Covid cases in 2 months, active cases below 15 lakh

India added 1.14 lakh new Covid infections over the last 24 hours, the lowest daily cases in two months. The country saw 2,667 deaths in the same period.

The country's overall caseload now stands at 2.88 crores, while total fatalities are at 3.46 lakh, according to the health ministry data released on Sunday morning.

The active caseload dropped to 14.77 lakh. Active cases in the country have been less than 2 lakhs for ten straight days

The positivity rate went further down to 5.42%. Meanwhile, the recovery rate improved to 93.38%.
