There aren't many changes in the jersey compared to the previous season's attire. Camouflage on the jersey is a tribute to the Indian armed forces where the four stars are representing the four titles won by the franchise. CSK, with the four IPL titles, is the second most successful franchise followed by Mumbai Indians (5 titles).
The first match of Chennai against Kolkata Knight Riders will be played at the iconic Wankhede Cricket Stadium in Mumbai on 26th March 2022.
